All About Cocobrush

WHAT'S OCEAN-BOUND PLASTIC?

As defined by our partner Oceanworks®, ocean-bound plastic is any plastic trash that exists within ~31 miles of a waterway or coastal area that’s on the ground — a.k.a. like plastic bottles on beaches. Using ocean-bound plastic reduces litter and pollution, reduces the demand for virgin plastic, cleans up local communities, and even creates jobs.

Reviews

Softest toothbrush ever!

"I love this toothbrush! It is sooo soft, it's like brushing your teeth with velvet, but it still gets them nice and clean. I plan to use only these brushes going forward. I've really upped my hygiene game between my Cocofloss and my Cocobrush. The only negative is the cost, but sometimes you just gotta splurge!"

— HopeV (5/5)

Lovely and Soft

"I've got some gum recession which can be very painful. The best solution I've found is using prescription sensitive toothpaste and a soft-bristled brush, which I change out frequently. The Cocobrush is very soft and a delight to use; and it's easy to replace every 2 months. Love that it's made of recycled plastic and comes in fun colors."

— Nancy M. (4/5)

Better than expected

"I didn’t think this toothbrush would be any different than the Oral B ones I buy at the store, but I was pleasantly surprised. I can’t completely identify why I like it so much, but it just feels like the bristles are doing a better job. -plus, I’m all in for fun colors."

— Carrie D. (5/5)

SIMPLY THE BEST

"BEST TOOTHBRUSHES. Price is good for the quality and materials. I noticed a difference immediately and love how soft and gentle it is"

— morgan (5/5)

This toothbrush is a game changer!

"You can’t and won’t go back to regular toothbrushes once you’ve tried Cocobrush! This happened to me and my husband. I discovered Cocolab on IG - their page just holds the right amount of product information and visual appeal. My interest was piqued and I bought my first brush. Wow, game changer! Brushing my teeth never felt so good, like teeth massage! My mouth felt fresh and clean after use, my teeth shinier. Then I introduced the brush to my husband and he was instantly hooked. Now we also use Cocoshine and Cocofloss, standard and travel sizes. Basically, all other dental products paled in comparison and got tossed out."

— Jenny X. (5/5)

Best toothbrush + fun colors

"I have a subscription toothbrush for my family and me, and I absolutely love it! The soft bristles are gentle on my gums, yet they’re fine enough to reach and clean every tooth easily."

— Valeria F. (5/5)

Glides well

"The bristles feel amazing over teeth and gums. Haven’t needed to use force as I brush. Glides over teeth well. It is a good tool the way it is shaped. It gets all the places. All the colors are a special bonus!"

— Christina W. (5/5)

Color brings toothbrush joy

"Want to brush more? Somehow a bright color toothbrush makes it a more joyful habit. Loved the green one and now I’m loving this pink number."

— Laura E. (5/5)

"I absolutely LOVE these toothbrushes. My dentist even noticed a positive change in my teeth since using CoCo. I purchased my first two from a local store near me (when i found out they no longer sell them I immediately purchased some online). I’d really love to see more color options like pastels!"

— Kayla (5/5)

Finally found a really soft

"Finally found a really soft and gentle toothbrush. I will definitely repurchase more."

— Na L. (5/5)

Q&A

How can we recycle these brushes when done using so they don’t end up in the ocean?
To make sure your toothbrush gets a second life, check out the free oral care recycling programs on Terracycle (terracycle.com/en-US/brigades?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=toothbrush&commit=SEARCH). They can also be tossed in with your other plastics, but we'd recommend cutting off the bristles before putting it in the bin!
$10 for a manual tooth brush is pretty expensive does it last more then 3 months like other Manuel brushes
Your Cocobrush should be replaced every 3 to 6 months (depending on brushing style). Bristles should stand up straight, like they just had a cup of espresso. Though your bristles may last longer than 6 months, bacteria is another reason you should replace your brush regularly.
Do you have a recycling program for returning your toothbrush once it needs replacing?
We don't have a direct recycling program (yet) but, to make sure your toothbrush gets a second life, check out the free oral care recycling programs on Terracycle (https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/brigades?utf8=%E2%9C%93&query=toothbrush&commit=SEARCH).
What are your toothbrush bristles made of? Are they nylon or polypropylene etc? And what filament is your floss made of? Is it a nylon base or Polypropylene?
Thanks for reaching out! Here are the materials of our products: Cocobrush Handle: Made with 98% recycled Oceanworks BPA-free plastic. Read more about Oceanworks plastic here: https://oceanworks.co/pages/about-oceanworks Cocobrush Bristles: Polyester bristles that scrub between teeth, and polish surfaces. Cocofloss: Polyester filaments infused with microcrystalline wax, coconut oil, essential oils, and aromas.
How often should you replace you coco brush? I know it can be cleaned! But what is the length of life for a coco brush?
Your Cocobrush should be replaced every 3 to 6 months.
